SECTION 1
Lorenzo, Mike, and Jim Jr. took in a Seattle Mariner game, watching the Mariners end an 11 game losing streak against the Yankees.
SECTION 2
Half the class visited the Pike Place Market, the other half chose the Space Needle. Here are some pictures from the Space Needle Group.
SECTION 3
Both groups then met up at Maritime Pacific Brewery, another “Pro Chilled” customer located in Ballard. We were given a great tour by George Hancock, the owner, followed by an incredible dinner by Chef Dave Miller II. This is truly one of Seattle’s best kept secrets.
SECTION 4
Next we headed to the Ballard Locks which link the salt waters of Puget Sound with the fresh waters of Salmon Bay, Lake Union, Portage Bay, and Lake Washington. We also visited the fish ladder where we got a great view of the sockeye salmon that were running.
SECTION 5
And we also managed to provide a very rigorous 4 day basic refrigeration class. We strive to combine both theory and practical application with class room lectures and presentations combined with hands on labs. In addition to the basic refrigeration course, we also offer CFC EPA Certification.
